Liverpool target reveals contract talks are on hold

first_imgLiverpool target Javier Pastore has revealed that talks about a new Paris Saint-Germain contract are on hold until the summer – and says his agent has received many offers regarding his future.The Argentinian has been one of PSG’s star performers this season and discussions about a new deal in Paris have been ongoing.Pastore’s current contract runs out in June 2016, when he would be able to walk away as a free agent, and reports have suggested that Liverpool and Real Madrid are both set to test their resolve to keep him this summer.The midfielder insists he will honour his contract but PSG may be forced to sell to ensure they do not lose him for nothing next year.And now the 25-year-old has revealed that talks have hit a snag and he does not expect them to resume until the end of the season.He said: “Talks have stopped. We do not talk more about an extension but I remain calm. I gave my word, I said that I will do my 5 years contract, I will do this year.“This is a negotiation between the club and my agent. I just want to think about the important matches happen.“After the championship, we will speak again of an extension. The desire to stay is there, of course. Everything was ready to extend. But these are things that happen. I have to think about the important matches happen.“No club has spoken with me. My agent has received many proposals. TG4 TO UNVEIL DELIGHTS OF DONEGAL IN SUMMER SERIES FEILTE

first_imgPresenter Máire Treasa Ní Dhubhghaill at Fanad Lighthouse.TG4 Summer magazine series Féilte begins its journey of discovery along the Wild Atlantic Way in North DonegalTG4’s Féilte programme begins a nine-week tour of the hidden treasures along the enchanting coast of Ireland’s Western seaboard – following the Fáilte Ireland-promoted Wild Atlantic Way. Fáilte Ireland has also helped to put together a fantastic weekly prize bonanza for Féilte viewers.On Sunday, July 5th, new presenter Máire Treasa Ní Dhubhghaill is in Donegal to explore the wealth of cultural visitor attractions, adventure activities, artisan food, music and song in the north of the county – and she discovers some of the secret gems in the towns and villages along the route, as well as some truly breath-taking scenery.Each episode will highlight a different Discovery Point along the route of the Wild Atlantic Way, starting from Fanad Point in north Donegal, where Ciaran McElwaine introduces us to Fanad Head Lighthouse. Now automated, it first shone its light on St Patrick’s Day 1817, and has been the subject of many stunning photographs and paintings over the years. Across the turbulent waters of the Northern Atlantic, you can capture a view of Tory Island more than 14 km out to sea. Also on the Fanad Peninsula, Máire Treasa drops in on Dill’s farm to view their historic native breed of Dexter cattle, which are grass fed and are reared employing enhanced traditional farming methods. Dill’s Dexter Beef is sold in local outlets and at their farm shop in Letterkenny.Máire Treasa tries her hand at paddle boarding with Luke Daly of Adventure One at Rathmullan Beach, before visiting The Singing Pub, Downings. Here, local musicians Caoimhe Ní Mhaoileoin, Sarah Cullen and Adhamhnán Ó Gallchóir entertain us with the best of traditional Irish music, and Francie Conway and Paddy Cullen sing for us.Luke Daly shows TG4 how to paddle board.We also meet with Bríd Uí Mhaolchiaráin, a Bean an Tí with summer college Coláiste Bhun an Inbhir in North West Donegal, and she chats to us about her summers spent looking after young people, many from the six counties, who have come to Donegal to learn Irish.Máire Treasa and all the crew look forward to bringing the Wild Atlantic Way to you!
