But they’re all in the same AirPods price range. It’s the design here that sets the Endurance Peak apart. There are no wires whatsoever on these headphones. Instead they form an incredibly secure fit over your ear using magnetic hooks. The IPX7 water resistance rating also means the headphones can take a fair amount of sweat and backsplash, even being submerged in a meter of water, and still work.Other parts of the design aren’t quite as solid. Microphone quality leaves something to be desired. And the sensitive touch controls on the right headphone only can get finicky, which would be especially annoying if you’re engaged in intense physical activity at the same time. But the JBL Endurance Peak still exceeds where it really counts, the audio quality. Basses are powerful. Sculpted highs maintain the range. And the battery case provides 24 hours of extra charge to keep listening beyond the four hours of the headphones themselves. For more on the JBL Endurance Peak check out the extensive review on our sister site PCMag.com.
